So its been about 4 or 5 days since I've had my knee surgery! Things are looking pretty good. I took off my dressing/bandage thursday morning and that wasn't as bad as I thought it would be! The doctor was o so generous to give me 2 screws and 15 staples! Man so generous with his medical hardware. My right knee looks like a mix of train tracks and Frankenstein. But overall things are looking great, I stopped taking pain meds and am able to walk a bit on it. I can't do straight leg raises, won't be able to do that till a couple months or hopefully weeks. 2 days ago I was blessed with the company of some good friends from church, I'm truly blessed to have friends that will come over eat, play, and have some fellowship with. I've been feeling so much God's love through people these days. My parents are amazing people as well, I've taken for granted the things my parents do for me, its amazing through my parents God is saying so many things! Praise the Lord! I got out the house yesterday as well, which felt great but was super tired after I got home. Its hard for me to sit for long periods of time because I have to keep my leg stretched out.
